
Mizzou Announces 2008 Football Schedule

The University of Missouri has finalized its 2008 football schedule, as announced Friday by the Department of Athletics. The Tigers will again play six games at home and have a total of eight games in the state of Missouri.
The 2008 season will again open up with the State Farm Arch Rivalry game against Illinois at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis on Aug. 30. The Tigers will be in action on Faurot Field the following three Saturdays, hosting Southeast Missouri State (Sept. 6), Nevada (Sept. 13) and Buffalo (Sept. 20) to close out the non-conference schedule.
Once in Big 12 Conference play, Mizzou will have home match-ups with Oklahoma State (Oct. 11), Colorado (Oct. 25) and Kansas State (Nov. 8), with road contests at Nebraska (Oct. 4), Texas (Oct. 18), Baylor (Nov. 1) and Iowa State (Nov. 15). Missouri will conclude its regular season against Border Showdown-rival Kansas on Nov. 29 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. MU will be the home team for the 2008 game against the Jayhawks.
Times and television details for all games will be announced at a later date.
