Tigers in 13th Place at Inverness Intercollegiate

TOLEDO, Ohio - - The Mizzou men's golf team is in 13th place after the first day of play at the Inverness Intercollegiate in Toledo, Ohio. The Tigers carded a round of 311 in the opening round. They then improved by 20 shots in round two, as their 291 second round score gave them a 36-hole total of 602.
Sophomore Bud Reynolds led MU with rounds of 76 and 72. His two-round score of 148 puts him in a tie for 31st place. Junior Peter Malnati is tied for 34th spot with a 149 score after day one. Freshman William Harrold is in a tie for 49th place, while junior Ryne Fisher is in a tie for 73rd place and freshman Tyler Hillis is tied for 76th spot.
Florida State leads the tournament wit ha 568 score, followed by Michigan State and Louisville.
The final round will be played on Tuesday at the Inverness Golf Club in Toledo.
