TEMPE, Ariz.- - Freshman Michelle Morgan leads the Missouri Women's Golf team after two rounds of play at the PING/ASU Invitational in Tempe Ariz. with a 36-hole total of 149, which places her in a tie for 29th place. Mizzou is in 14th place of the team standings with the final round to be played on Sunday.
Morgan carded a one-over-par 73 in Saturday's second round after a 76 in the opening round. She is two shots ahead of sophomore Ellen Hoeper, who is in a tie for 36th place with a 151 score after round two.
Junior Madde Augustsson is tied for 70th with a 159 score, while freshman Julia Potter is in a tie for 77th with a 160 total and senior Stephanie Wavro has a 171 two-round score and is among those tied at 91st.
Sophomore Chelsea Schriewer is competing individually only in the event and is in a tie for 50th place with a 156 score.
The Tigers finished in a tie with Kansas for fourth place, just one shot out of third and four shot behind second place.
