Tigers Asked To Wear Black and Plan for Fan-Friendly Event

Columbia, Mo. -The University of Missouri Department of Athletics as well as Head Coach Gary Pinkel and members of the nationally-ranked Tiger football team are urging fans to wear black and promote good sportsmanship in Saturday's, nationally televised game with Border Showdown opponent Kansas.

A game between two Big 12 North division leaders, the Nov. 24, 7 p.m. (CT) matchup at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., should be an exciting event for all involved. The Tigers are asking fans to represent the University of Missouri with class and tact, respecting those around you throughout the day's festivities.

To demonstrate school spirit and pride, Tiger fans are encouraged to wear black on Saturday and attend the live broadcast of ESPN College GameDay beginning at 9 a.m. (CT) in the back of parking lots C and D at Arrowhead Stadium. Gates for the morning event will open at 7 a.m. Fans can enter the parking lots through Gate 2 off of the Blue Ridge Cutoff and will be asked to leave the lots following the conclusion of the show.

Parking gates will reopen beginning at 3 p.m., with doors opening at 4 p.m. for the evening kickoff. Additionally, fans can attend the free Mizzou Alumni Association (MAA) Tailgate located in the Arrowhead Pavilion beginning at 4 p.m.
