
Mizzou in Ninth at Vegas Showdown

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - - The Missouri women's golf team will enter the final round of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown in nine place after carding a round of 305 on Tuesday. That follows an opening round of 292 on Monday, giving the Tigers a two-round total of 597, which is one shot behind eighth-place TCU and two strokes behind sixth-place Texas A&M.
Denver leads the event with a 36-hole score of 570. The final day of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown is Wednesday.
Mizzou sophomore Julia Potter and junior Chelsea Schriewer are among a group tied for 15th place with two-round totals of 147. Schriewer turned in the best round of the day for the Tigers with a one-over-par 73 on Tuesday, while Potter shot a 77.
Senior Madde Augustsson is tied for 37th spot with a 150 score after two rounds of play, while sophomore Michelle Morgan is tied for 57th with a 153 total and Madison Marcolla is in 95th place with a 175 score after two rounds.
