Soccer Nabs High School All-America Transfer

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Former high school All-America goalkeeper Tasha Dittamore has transferred to the University of Missouri, Head Coach Bryan Blitz announced. Dittamore, who played the 2006 college season at Dayton, will join the Tigers for their spring season.
A native of Granite City, Ill., Dittamore earned National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) All-America honors in 2006 and was an All-Regional by the NSCAA selection in 2005. She was named the News-Democrat Player of the Year and nabbed Chicago Tribune All-State and All-Midwest first team during her junior and senior seasons and all-state and all-sectional first team honors as well.
Dittamore played club soccer for the Eclipse Select, which won the 2006 US Youth Soccer Region II Championship and was a national championship finalist. She competed on the Region II Olympic Development Program (ODP) team from 2003-2006, through which she traveled to tournaments in Europe and Central America.
During the summer of 2006, Dittamore was a member of the River Cities FC of the Women's Premier Soccer League with current Mizzou players Janelle Cordia, Ashley Hamblin, Meghan Pfeiffer, Mo Redmond and Kat Tarr
Dittamore played in eight games for the Racers in 2006 and posted a 5-2 record with two shutouts despite battling injuries.
