Columbia, Mo. - he University of Missouri women's soccer team is proud to announce its first ever `Playing for Pink' game last Friday (Sept. 21) raised $1,130 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.
The 815 fans in attendance were a big part of the charity event, as $1 from every ticket sold was donated to the foundation. After the game, the team raffled pink replica jerseys to fans that donated to the foundation by buying raffle tickets.
The crowd of 815 was the 12th largest in Mizzou Soccer history.
