Missouri Heads To No. 13/11 Baylor Looking For Second Straight Victory
After snapping its four-game losing streak on Sunday, Missouri heads to Waco, Texas to face No. 13/11 Baylor at the Ferrell Center ... MU is 4-4 in road/neutral games this season and 0-3 in its previous Big 12 road battles ... this will mark the Tigers' third game against a team ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 this season (at Stanford in Nov. and vs. Texas three weeks ago).

Mizzou-Baylor Series History
Wednesday's game marks the 15th all-time meeting between the schools, with Baylor holding a 10-4 overall lead and a 5-1 margin in Waco ... the Tigers have dropped five straight in the Ferrell Center with their lone victory coming in 1990 ... Mizzou won last year's game in Columbia, 64-61, as they snapped Baylor's 30-game winning streak ... that win over the fourth-ranked Bears was also the last time the Tigers defeated a ranked team.

Texas Natives Savant, Jackson Back In Lone Star State For Final Game
Wednesday's game in Waco will be the final regular-season game in the state of Texas for Lone Star State natives Tamika Jackson (Galveston) and Carlynn Savant (Euless) ... in 10 previous games in the state, Savant has averaged 5.8 points and 3.9 rebounds ... Jackson has posted four total points and five boards in four previous contests ... sophomores Alyssa Hollins (Mesquite) and K-Kay Pickens (Houston) are also from Texas.

Four Of The Top Six Scorers In The Big 12 Meet On Wednesday
In both the Missouri-Baylor and Oklahoma-Texas games on Wednesday, four of the top six scorers in the Big 12 will be in Waco and Austin ... in Waco, Mizzou's EeTisha Riddle (16.0 ppg) and Baylor's Bernice Mosby (19.1 ppg) will be in action, while 2-hours away in Austin, OU's Courtney Paris (22.0 ppg) and UT's Tiffany Jackson (18.2 ppg) will be playing ... while the individual match-ups may not be head-to-head for all 40 minutes, it will be fun to watch.

Mizzou Versus Ranked Foes
Wednesday's game with 13th-ranked Baylor marks the third time this season that Missouri will face a team ranked in the top-25 ... last year the Tigers went 1-3 against ranked foes, with the lone victory coming against then-No. 4 Baylor in Columbia on Jan. 4, 2006 - a win that snapped the Bears' 30-game winning streak ... the last time an MU squad came away with a road win over a ranked opponent was on March 18, 2001, when they upset then-No. 4 Georgia in Athens in the second round of the NCAA Tournament ... since then the Tigers have dropped 15-consecutive on the road ... the highest-ranked team that any Mizzou squad has defeated was No. 3 Colorado in the 1994 Big Eight Championship game.

We Played Them & Them & Them...
Missouri and Baylor have seven common opponents thus far with four non-conference foes and three Big 12 teams ... in non-league play both schools went 4-0 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Prairie View, South Dakota State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi ... the three Big 12 schools each has faced include Kansas State, Texas and Texas Tech ... Baylor defeated all three and Mizzou lost to all three.

Tigers Taking Care Of The Ball
Without question the 2006-07 Missouri team is one of the best in both school history and on the national scene in regards to taking care of the ball ... the Tigers currently lead the Big 12 and rank 27th nationally with 15 turnovers per game ... in the last 12 games Mizzou has averaged 13.7 tpg (with 11 games having 15 or less), resulting in a decrease from 16.9 (12 games ago) to 15 ... the Tigers have committed the same or fewer turnovers than their opponents 17 times (out of 20) this season and are 13-4 in those games.

Turning TOs Into Pts
Missouri has been very aggressive this season with its transition play, especially off turnovers ... for the season the Tigers are averaging 7 more points off turnovers per game than their opponents ... MU opponents are averaging 19.3 miscues this season and the Tigers themselves are posting 19.9 points off those turnovers per contest.

Missouri Ranks 10th In NCAA In Assist/TO Ratio
Tying the previous two notes together shows that Missouri ranks second in the Big 12 and 26th in the nation with a 1.03 assist-to-turnover ratio ... Missouri has never finished a season with a ratio greater than 1.0.
