The University of Missouri Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is pleased to announce that it will provide free tickets to the 2006 Brut Sun Bowl to Mizzou students, as well as an affordable trip to El Paso to see the Tigers take on the Oregon State Beavers on Dec. 29th.

Mizzou students can pick up their free tickets beginning at Noon on Monday, Dec. 11th at the Mizzou Arena Ticket Office.  There is a limit of two tickets per student, and a valid MU student ID must be presented.  Tickets are subject to availability.

For students who want to see their Tigers play, but can't afford travel options to El Paso, the Department of Athletics, along with the Missouri Student Association (MSA) is sponsoring a reduced-rate student bus trip that will provide affordable transportation to and from El Paso (leaving Dec. 27th and returning Dec. 30th), and a hotel room - all for just $100 per person.

A registration table will be set up in the concourse area outside of the Ticket Office at Mizzou Arena beginning at Noon on Monday.  There, students can sign up for the trip and pick up tickets all at one time.  The $100 nonrefundable payment is due at the time of registration, and MU student charge will be accepted.  Specific departure times, itineraries and other details will be distributed during the week of Dec. 18th.

A deadline of 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15th has been set for students to take advantage of either offer.  For more information, please contact the Mizzou Athletics Marketing Office at 573-882-6501.
