Mizzou-Oklahoma Game Selected for ABC Broadcast

COLUMBIA, Mo. -

No. 24 Mizzou's Oct. 28 contest against Oklahoma will kickoff at 11 a.m. and be broadcast on ABC, as announced by the Big 12 Conference and ABC Sports on Monday. The game will mark the sixth television appearance for the Tigers this season and second on ABC.

The Tigers fell to Texas A&M on Saturday in College Station, dropping their first game of the 2006 campaign, but are 6-1 for the first time since 1973 and continue to be ranked in the Associated Press Top 25, coming in at No. 24 in the latest poll.

Missouri returns to Faurot Field for its next two games, hosting Kansas State at 1 p.m. this Saturday in the annual Homecoming game, before taking on the Sooners the following week. The Oklahoma contest is also Gold Rush at Faurot Field, where all Tiger fans are encouraged to wear gold. The official Gold Rush T-Shirts are now on sale at the Tiger Team Store.

Approximently 2,500 reserved seat tickets remain for the Kansas State game and 3,500 reserved seat tickets are still available for the Oklahoma matchup.
