Women's Basketball Participates In Pep Rally at Columbia Mall

Members of the Missouri women's basketball team were the featured attraction at a pep rally at the Columbia Mall Thursday night.

Chris Gervino of KOMU and Gary Link of the MU Athletic Department served as co-masters of ceremonies as they handed out mall gift cards and introduced various coaches and student-athletes.

Head coach Cindy Stein and senior co-captains Tiffany Brooks and Carlynn Savant spoke about the upcoming Mizzou Madness, Brewer Breakfast and 2006-07 season.

Mini Mizzou, the cheerleaders, Golden Girls and Truman also kept the large crowd entertained.

Both Missouri basketball squads will be present at Mizzou Madness on Friday night at Mizzou Arena. The doors open at 8 p.m. with the program beginning an hour later.
