ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - - The Missouri Men's Golf Team finished inn 18th place at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate in Albuquerque, N.M. After rounds of 297 and 308 on the first day of play, Mizzou turned in a 306 in Saturday's final round.
Sophomore Peter Malnati led the Tigers with a final total of 226, which put him in a tie for 48th place. Seniors John Kelly and Trent Twaddle were among a group tied for 66th place with 54-hole score of 229.
Redshirt freshman Bud Reynolds tied for 72nd spot with a 230 score, while junior Michael Unger finished with a three-round total of 232, place in a tie for 80th place.
Next up for Missouri is the Wolf Run Intercollegiate in Zionsville, Ind. on Oct. 7-8.
