COLUMBIA, Mo. -- - Due to an increase in security at all public venues, most sports stadiums, including the University of Missouri's Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field, now specifically prohibit backpacks and discourage fans from bringing other large bags and items to Mizzou football games.

While the policy has been in place, the University of Missouri Police Department and the Mizzou Department of Athletics would like to remind fans of this regulation in order to prevent the inconvenience of returning prohibited items to your car. Fans are encouraged to consider this policy when choosing which items to bring into the stadium.
