COLUMBIA, Mo. - The contest vs. the Buffaloes will be Mizzou's third TV appearance on the season and second on FSN. The Tigers defeated Ole Miss 34-7 on FSN on Sept. 9 at Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field.
So far this season the Tiger are 3-0 following a 27-17 win at New Mexico on Sept. 16. Junior tailback Tony Temple rushed for a career high 168 yards on 22 carries against the Lobos, while senior defensive end Brian Smith earned Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week accolades thanks to a school-record tying four quarterback sacks and five total tackles-for-loss.
The Tiger Scholarship Fund will also host its annual TSF Day Tailgate from 9-11 a.m prior to the Colorado contest. The TSF Tailgate will be held on the Walsworth Family Plaza just to the northeast of Mizzou Arena. The tailgate will provide free food and beverages to the over 4,700 TSF members. This week the undefeated Tigers battle Frank Solich and the Ohio Bobcats at Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field. Game time is slated for 1 p.m. Game tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS.
