COLUMBIA, Mo. -- - The University of Missouri Department of Athletics is announcing a "Kickoff Special" ticket offer for the Tigers' season opener against Murray State at 6 p.m. on Sept. 2. For a limited time, fans can purchase a south endzone reserved ticket for just $10. The special offer is only available from Aug. 6-13.

To place an order, call 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in Columbia) between 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday or visit mutigers.com and click on "Tickets" to order online. The tickets are subject to availability.

The "Kickoff Special" tickets will also be available at the Faurot Field ticket window during Mizzou Football Fan Day, which will take place 3:30-5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6. The fourth annual Fan Day is free to the public and will give fans an opportunity to meet Mizzou players and coaches and get autographs and photos of their favorite Tigers.

Four of Mizzou's first five games of the 2006 campaign are at Faurot Field, kicking off with the opener against Murray State.
