Zimmer Radio Group Presents RODNEY CARRINGTON Live at Hearnes Center!

Aug. 12, 2006

Comedian Rodney Carrington and his musical comedy routine come to the Hearnes Center on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. Carrington's current CD on Capitol Records, entitled "Greatest Hits," recently earned Gold status from the RIAA. On this album, old and new fans alike are treated to the best of Carrington's best with a total of 42 cuts. His unique use of comedy and music has afforded him the opportunity to be featured in various music videos including "She's More of a Man" (Morning Wood, Capitol Records), "Dancin' with a Man and Fred" (Hangin' with Rodney, Mercury Records).

After 15 years of knee-slappin' comedy and five chart-topping CD's, a Gold Record, and starring in his own sitcom (RODNEY, formerly on ABC TV for two seasons), Carrington has firmly carved out his niche in the history of comedy.

Originally from Longview, Texas, Carrington now resides in Tulsa, OK, with his wife and three sons. Come out and hear this unique blend of comedy at the Hearnes Center on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 8;00 p.m. and remember as Rodney says, "Lighten up, don't be so serious about stuff! Enjoy yourself because life is entirely too short!"
