Members of the Missouri swimming team concluded action at the Central Section Region VIII Long Course Summer Championships over the weekend with 10 more individual top-three finishes and three relay titles.

Competitors with ties to Mizzou finished the four-day meet at the Mizzou Aquatic Center with five individual golds and 21 medal finishes. Relays with current Tiger student-athletes on them captured all six races and set a pair of region records.

At the conclusion of the event, the women's Mizzou Swim Team tallied a meet-high 690 points, while the men's group fashioned 501 points for a third-place finish.

Individually, Carly Sullivan, Jill Granger and Lori Halvorson recorded 100, 91 and 91 points respectively, for the second, third and fourth-highest totals on the women's side. Bennett Clark led all men's competitors with 107 points, which he scored for the Clayton Shaw Park Swim Club. Alex Zasadny placed 11th with 51 points, immediately ahead of Travis Floyd's 50.
