Missouri 2006 Cross Country Schedule Released

Columbia, Mo. - Missouri Head Cross Country Coach Jared Wilmes released the Tiger's 2006 schedule today. The Tigers will open the 77th season of Mizzou cross country with the 13th annual Missouri Cross Country Challenge, Saturday, Sept. 9, at A.L. Gustin Golf Course in Columbia, Mo.

Throughout the course of the campaign, the Missouri men's and women's cross country teams will compete in five regular season meets including the nationally recognized Roy Griak and Notre Dame Invitationals, Sept. 23 and Sept. 29, respectively. The Tigers will also travel to Terre Haute, Ind., for the running of the highly competitive Pre-NCAA Invitational, Oct. 14.

This year's Big 12 Championships will be held in Lawrence, Kan., Oct. 27 with the NCAA Midwest Regional race set for Nov. 11, in Minneapolis, Minn. For the third straight year, the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships will run in Terre Haute, Ind.
