Missouri softball Head Coach Ty Singleton announced today that registration is now open for two additional TigerBall softball camps held on the University of Missouri campus June 12-13 and June 15-16. Both camps, running from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and led by Singleton and the Mizzou Tiger Softball team at University Field, will cost $140 with a $10 discount for each additional family member attending.
Day Camp I designed for students just completing grades 4-6, will run June12-13 and will provide beginning softball skills training, including throwing and catching, hitting and bunting, baserunning, and defense fundamentals. It is designed for both beginner players and those who have played competitively for several years. Brief introduction to pitching will also be covered.
Day Camp II, held June 14-15 for those just completing grades 7-9 will offer intermediate softball skills training for players wanting to improve mechanics and learn more advanced training drills. Offense, defense and baserunning will be covered, as will pitching and catching.
