Columbia, Mo. - The Tiger Club of Kansas City will host a rally to welcome new Men's Basketball Coach Mike Anderson to the University of Missouri on Tuesday, May 30, at Harpo's in Westport.

Harpo's is located at 4109 Pennsylvania Avenue in Kansas City, Mo.

"We are looking forward to coming to Kansas City," Head Coach Mike Anderson said. "We've been in and around Kansas City a number of times already and there are a number of passionate Tigers in that part of the state. This will be an opportunity to share our vision of the Mizzou Basketball program and it's an opportunity we are looking forward to."

The event's reception is scheduled for 6 p.m. and the program will start at 7 p.m. The reception will feature a cash bar and provide a relaxed, social opportunity for fans and Tiger Club members to meet Coach Anderson.

Fans in attendance will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle to win a Mike Anderson-signed basketball.
