Mizzou will participate in NCAA Regional play for the second-straight year with this week's NCAA Central Regional in Cleveland. Play gets underway on Thursday, as the Tigers take part in the eighth regional in the program's history.

MU finished tied for sixth at last year's Central Regional, qualifying for the NCAA Championships for the first time since 1986.

Three regional tournaments will be conducted this week to determine the championships field. A total of 27 teams and six individuals will play in each of the three Regionals. The East Regional will be in Orlando, Fla., and the West Regional will be in Tucson, Ariz. The top 10 teams and two individuals in each regional will advance to the NCAA Championships May 31-June 3 in Sunriver, Ore.
