COLUMBIA, Mo. - A total of 63 University of Missouri participated in graduation ceremonies last weekend as part of the University's 162nd commencement exercises. The new graduates, along with others from December 2005 and August 2006, were honored Saturday at noon at a Student-Athlete Graduation Reception in the Clinton Club of Mizzou Arena.

Several student-athletes missed the weekend's festivities because they competed at their respective Big 12 Conference Championships. The track and field team was in Waco, Texas, for the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships and the softball squad was in Oklahoma City, Okla., for the Big 12 Tournament. Additionally, the baseball team was in Lubbock, Texas, for a series against Texas Tech.
