Columbia, Mo. - The Tiger Club of St. Louis will host a rally to welcome new Men's Basketball Coach Mike Anderson to the University of Missouri on Thursday, May 25, at the Edward Jones offices in St. Louis.

The Edward Jones offices are located at the intersection of Interstate-270 and Manchester Road in St. Louis.

"It's always great to be in St. Louis and I appreciate the St. Louis Tiger Club's invitation for this month's event," Head Coach Mike Anderson said. "There are a number of great Mizzou fans in and around the city of St. Louis and this is a great opportunity to meet and talk with a number of them."

The event's reception is scheduled for 6 p.m. and the program will begin at 7 p.m. The reception will feature a cash bar and provide a relaxed, social opportunity for fans and Tiger Club members to meet Coach Anderson, as well as Director of Athletics Mike Alden and MU Alumni Association Executive Director Todd McCubbin.

Fans are encouraged to bring their families to the free event. Truman the Tiger and the Alumni Band will also provide entertainment, in addition to the social opportunities with Anderson, Alden and McCubbin.

Tiger Network affiliate KMOX (1120-AM) will carry the program live and sponsors for the event including the St. Louis Tiger Club, St. Louis Mizzou Alumni Chapter, the MU Alumni Association and Mizzou Athletics.
