The University of Missouri Athletic Department and the MU Alumni Association invites MU alumni, fans and friends to meet with new Head Basketball Coach Mike Anderson, Head Football Coach Gary Pinkel and other Tiger administrators and coaches, when the Mizzou Caravan stops in St. Joseph, Mo., Tues., April 25th.
Tiger Athletics and the MU Alumni Association will sponsor a reception and "Tiger Talk" dinner program that evening at the St. Joseph Country Club, at 50 Ridgeland Road, in St. Joseph. A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a dinner program, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per person ($17 for Alumni Association members and Tiger Scholarship Fund donors), and includes a dinner and doorprizes.
Anderson, announced as MU's 16th men's basketball coach, will be on hand to discuss his coming to Mizzou, while Pinkel will recap the spring practice period and take a look at the upcoming 2006 season. The event will be emceed by Mike Kelly, the Voice of the Tigers.
