Meet Central
COLUMBIA, Mo.--Columbia will be buzzing this upcoming weekend as 45 high school and collegiate teams will be making their way to the 7th Annual Missouri Relays starting this Friday in a two-day meet. Over 1,700 athletes will go for top spots in the meet that includes small-town and large-town high schools and all divisions of collegiate action including 11 teams from NCAA's Division I.
The meet begins Friday morning with the high school pentathlon and will continue with track and field events beginning at 2:00 p.m. On Saturday, the meet will continue with field events at 9:30 a.m., and track events starting at 9:45.
NCAA Division I competition will come from Missouri, Arkansas State, Drake, Illinois State, UMKC, Northern Iowa, South Dakota State, St. Louis University, Tulsa, Western Illinois, and Wichita State.
