Baseball vs. Purdue Suspended Until Sunday

COLUMBIA, Mo. - - The second game of Mizzou Baseball's three-game series with Purdue was suspended in the bottom of the fourth inning due to rain and lightning in the area. The Tigers led the Boilermakers 5-0 when play was suspended. The game will resume at Noon on Sunday, with the final game of the series to follow.

Missouri scored a run in the first inning when sophomore Jacob Priday singled to drive in sophomore Evan Frey. The Tigers added two runs in the second inning, as senior Derek Chambers scored on a sacrifice fly by freshman David Cales and sophomore Ryan Lollis scored on a passed ball. A pair of runs scored for the Tigers in the third inning on a 2-out double by Chambers.

MU starter Nathan Culp had struck out three and allowed just one hit through the first four innings when play was suspended.
