Columbia, Mo. - Dropping temperatures and Northwest winds forced the Tiger softball squad to cancel its Black and Gold Game originally scheduled for 1 p.m. (CST) at University Field. Fans will have their first opportunity of the 2006 season to see the 18th-ranked team open its home schedule Tuesday, March 7 in a doubleheader against Truman State (2 p.m. and 4 p.m. CST).

The Tigers will travel to Atlanta, Ga., for their first three-game series of the season beginning Friday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. (CST) against defending ACC Champions No. 24 Georgia Tech.
