The 72-68 MU victory marked Head Coach Quin Snyder's 115th victory at Mizzou.
Senior guard Brian Dailey made his first career start in the
Missouri forward Marshall Brown tied the game at 12 with a three pointer (13:21) and followed with a steal that was passed off to guard Jason Conley and rebounded by guard Thomas Gardner who put MU ahead for the first time (15-13) at 12:59 with a layup.
The Tigers went on a 28-10 run to lead the game by as many as 13 points in the first half (14:02-3:44).
Shooting 8-10 (80%) from behind the arc in the first half,
Junior Jimmy McKinney tied his career high points total (21) with a layup at 2:07 to give
Mizzou held
Sophomore guard Thomas Gardner tied his career high point total (23), previously set Feb. 9, 2005, against UNLV.
Sophomore Linas Kleiza tied his career high rebound total (14) previously set Nov. 16, 2004 against the University of Houston and recorded his eighth double-double of the season with 15 points and 14 rebounds.
