COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The No. 10 Missouri women's volleyball team is advancing to the regional semifinal, round-of-16, of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history after defeating Arkansas in a three-game sweep on Saturday evening. The Tigers (24-4) will face No. 7 Hawaii (27-6), who won the Austin sub-regional, at 3 p.m., central in State College, Pa.
The Rainbow Wahine of Hawaii have won 21-straight matches, having gone undefeated in winning the WAC regular-season and tournament championship.
If the Tigers win Friday, they would play the winner of 15-seed Tennessee versus two-seed Penn State, at 3 p.m., central, Saturday, December 10, live on ESPNU.
Ticket prices for the regional are, for All-Session, $15 for adults, $10 for students and senior citizens. A group rate of $4 per ticket is available for ages 21 and under (10 ticket minimum). More information on the regional is available on gopsusports.com.
