Columbia, Mo. - Officials from ESPN have confirmed that the second round match-up in Mizzou's bracket of the Preseason NIT will be televised on their ESPN2 network on Nov. 17 at 7 p.m.
The Tigers would face the winner of the Drexel-Princeton opening-round Preseason NIT contest, which will be played Nov. 14 in Princeton, N.J.
Mizzou's second-round, Preseason NIT match-up was originally slated for Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. The game was to be aired by the Mizzou Sports Network, but will now be broadcasted live on ESPN2 and will be available in High Definition.
Head Coach Quin Snyder and the Tigers now have the potential to play three nationally-televised contests on ESPN2 in the season's first-two weeks. The semifinals, finals and consolation games of the Preseason NIT, held Nov. 23 and Nov. 25 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, will also be broadcasted live on "The Deuce".
