
Fall World Series Opens on Wednesday

Missouri Baseball will conclude its Fall 2005 schedule with the annual Fall World Series, which will begin with game one at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Taylor Stadium. All games of the best-of-five intersquad series are free to the public. The Tigers split into two teams for the series. The rosters are below.
Following Wednesday's opening game, game two will take place at 3 p.m. on Thursdasy with the third game taking place at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23. If necessary, games four and five will be played next Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 25-26, with both games starting at 6 p.m.
The Tigers will be aiming for a fourth-consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament this upcoming season. Mizzou is one of just two Big 12 Conference teams that have advanced to the NCAA Regionals in each of the last three seasons.
