Oct. 10, 2005
Columbia, Mo. -
The University of Missouri home football game on Oct. 22nd against the University of Nebraska has been chosen for telecast on Fox Sports Net, as part of the Big 12 Conference television package. The game will kick at 11:30 a.m. and will be shown regionally on FSN's family of cable networks (check local listings for coverage areas).
The game will mark Nebraska's first venture to Columbia since the Tigers upset the 10th-ranked Huskers by a score of 41-24 in 2003 - breaking a 25-game losing streak to Nebraska for MU.
The telecast will be MU's second televised game of the 2005 season. Mizzou's Oct. 1 home game against 2nd-ranked Texas was shown on ABC.
Plenty of reserved-seat tickets remain available for the Nebraska game, as well as remaining home games this Saturday against Iowa State (Homecoming 2005) and Nov. 12 against the upstart Baylor Bears. Tickets to all of those games can be purchased by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in Columbia), online by visiting www.mutigers.com, or in person at the Mizzou Arena Ticket Office.
