Kansas City promoter RCA Group, Inc. has announced that tickets for the Saturday, September 3, 2005 football game hosted by Arkansas State University against the University of Missouri will go on sale to the public on Friday, April 29, 2005. The NCAA Division I season opener for both teams will kick off at 11 AM at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium, marking the first time either team has played at the venue.

The Arkansas State Indians will be led by Sophomore Linebacker Josh Williams and Sophomore Safety Tyrell Johnson, both of whom were First Team All-Sunbelt Conference selections as freshman. The Indian defense and its seven returning starters will hope to slow down Missouri Senior Quarterback Brad Smith, one of the nation's top run/ pass threats in what should be an exciting matchup.

Tickets for the General Public are available at $ 35, $ 30, $ 25, and $ 20 price levels. Student and youth tickets are available at half price at all levels except the $ 35 tickets. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets or can be charged by phone at (816) 931-3330.

Arkansas State University season ticket holders, as well as loyal fans, are encouraged to purchase their tickets directly through ASU Central Box Office, in order to obtain priority seating, or by phone at (870) 972-ASU1 (2781).

Missouri season ticket holders, as well as donors to the Tiger Scholarship Fund, are encouraged to purchase their tickets directly through the University of Missouri, in order to obtain priority seating, by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in Columbia).
