TIGERS MAKE FINAL ROAD TRIP OF REGULAR SEASON
The Missouri women's basketball team (9-16, 3-11 Big 12) heads to Lincoln, Neb., on Saturday to play the final road game of the 2004-05 season at Nebraska. The Tigers will look to exact a measure of revenge against the Cornhuskers (16-10, 8-6), who dealt Mizzou an 81-74 defeat on Jan. 8.
In that game, sophomore forward Tiffany Brooks hit for an MU season-high 30 points, yet she and her teammates went without a field goal for the final 9 minutes, 46 seconds of the contest. For more on this year's game in Columbia, refer to the game recap and box score on page 13.

THE NEBRASKA SERIES
While the Huskers have won the last two games in Columbia - one each at the Hearnes Center and the Tigers' new Mizzou Arena - Missouri has had even better success of late in Lincoln, winning the last four games at the Devaney Center. Overall, Nebraska holds a 32-26 lead in the all-time series, including 17-8 in Lincoln, yet the Tigers have won seven of the last nine games. In last year's game in Lincoln, then-freshman EeTisha Riddle hit the game-winning layup with 10 seconds left. For more on last year's game in Lincoln, refer to the game recap and box score on page 3.
Iowa State is the only other Big 12 school against whom the Tigers have won as many as five straight on the road; Mizzou took the first 11 games in Ames from 1977-1990.

SCOUTING THE HUSKERS
Nebraska is still in the hunt for an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Huskers are 12-2 overall at home this season, yet were blown out by Kansas State on Wednesday night.
Guard Jina Johansen, Nebraska's lone senior, will be honored prior to Saturday's game. She is averaging nearly six assists per game, and has turned the ball over just 59 times all year for a handy 2.6-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Nebraska has just one player scoring in double figures this season, yet sophomore guard and Kansas City native Kiera Hardy is taking care of the scoring load for the Huskers at 19.4 ppg. She's averaging 21.3 ppg in Big 12 play, which leads the league.
