Mizzou Continues Big 12 Conference Play

Columbia, Mo- The #72 Missouri tennis team continues its seven match home stand hosting a weekend match against Big 12 Conference foe #46 Colorado. The Tigers square off against the Buffaloes Sat., Feb.26 at 2:00 p.m.

Heading into the match, Missouri looks to continue its winning way after defeating Murray State 7-0 and Iowa State 6-1 last weekend. The victories improve the Tigers to 6-2 on the season and 1-1 in Big 12 Conference action.

The Tiger effort has been bolstered by injured junior Hana Kraftova who returned to the lineup against Iowa State to claim a 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 win over Caitlin Loprinzi at No. 2 singles. Sophomore Erika Josbena was equally impressive posting straight set victories over Iowa State's Beth Chemel and Murray State's Jennifer Ward.

Highlighting in doubles play, the duo of Katka Sevcikova and newcomer Carolyn Kramer own a 3-1 record on the season.

Mizzou continues its home stand next week, when its hosts #75 Louisville on Fri., March 4 and face #65 Ohio State Sun., March 6. Both matches are at 2:00 p.m., in the Green Tennis Center
