Columbia, Mo. - With basketball season in full swing, the annual Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament is just around the corner. The tournament, scheduled for March 10-13, makes its return to Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Mo., after a two-year stint in Dallas, Texas.
Ticket applications have been mailed to all Tiger Scholarship Fund donors from the Directors' Club level to the Varsity Club level. As has been standard procedure in the past for this tournament, tickets will be allocated based on each donors' accumulated priority points.
The application deadline for TSF donors is February 4th. Any application received after that date will not be considered.
Normally a tough ticket for fans, this year is expected to be even tougher, said Eric Morrison, Director of Development for Annual Giving.
"The fact that the tournament has been away for a couple of years certainly should make it a very desirable ticket for people," Morrison said. "We are anticipating that, as is usually the case with this tournament, demand will outweigh the supply. The best thing that our donors can do is to get their forms in as soon as possible, and contact us with any questions," he said.
Donors can contact the Tiger Scholarship Fund at 573-882-0704 for more details.
Non-TSF members wishing to purchase tickets can visit the Big 12 Conference website for more information, at www.big12sports.com.
