Columbia, Mo.--Despite valiant play, the Mizzou Tigers dropped a third Big 12 Conference match to #9 Kansas. Although Missouri matched the Jayhawks with 14 shots, including a slim 9-to-10 shot on goal differential, the Tigers gave up three goals in the game losing 3-1. The defeat takes Missouri to 5-7-1 on the year with a 2-3-0 Big 12 Conference record.

Junior Jennifer Nobis notched her sixth goal of the season scoring Mizzou's lone goal late in the game. Taking an assist from defender Ashley Gibbs, Nobis collected the ball at the top of the KU box where she launched a shot past Jayhawk goalkeeper Meghan Miller.

Missouri rounds out the weekend hosting Iowa State on Sun., Oct. 10 at 1:00 p.m. The Tigers continue Big 12 Conference play next week when they travel to face Texas A&M and Texas.
