Tiger Itinerary
Spliting the weekend, Mizzou hosts Texas Tech in Columbia on Fri., Oct. 22 at 7:00 p.m., before rounding out Big 12 Conference action traveling to Texas to face Baylor on Sun., Oct. 24 at 1:00 p.m.
Mizzou sums up the 2004 regular season hosting a final home against Alabama A&M on Fri., Oct. 29 at 7:00 p.m. Honoring the Tiger senior class, Mizzou has scheduled a special Senior Day program prior to game time.

Scouting Texas Tech
The Red Raiders are 3-13-0 on the year owning an 0-8-0 record during Big 12 Conference play. Texas Tech opened league play with an impressive match against then #22 ranked Texas. The Raiders took the Longhorns into double overtime before falling in a 3-2 heartbreaker.
Texas Tech returns 10 letterwinners including eight starters from the 2003 squad that finished 11th in Big 12 Conference standings (3-13-1, 2-8).
In their last meeting, the Raiders defeated the Tigers 3-1 claiming their first victory over a Missouri team since the 1999 season. The victory evened out the MU-TT series at 5-5.
Scouting Baylor
Owning a 5-8-2 record with a 2-5-1 Big 12 Conference mark, the Bears are just behind Mizzou with a ninth-place league ranking. Baylor owns conference victories over then #22 Nebraska (4-3) and then #22 Texas (2-1 ot) along with a 2-2 tie against Oklahoma State.
Returning 13 letterwinners and seven starters, Baylor rounded out the 2003 season with a 7-8-2 record with a 2-6-2 Big 12 Conference mark to tie for ninth overall.
In their last match-up, the Tigers defeated the Bears 2-1 extending Mizzou's win streak over Baylor to three seasons. The victory tied up the MU-BU series record at 5-5.
Weekend Recap
Missouri is ranked eight in Big 12 Conference standings with a 3-5-0 league mark after splitting the weekend with a victory over #6 Texas A&M and a loss to Texas on the road.
The Tigers picked up their first victory in College Station, Texas, besting the Aggies 2-1. Following the ejection of the Mizzou goal keeper on a red card infraction just six minutes into the match, the Tigers overpowered the Aggies playing 10-on-11.
Although the Aggies out shot Mizzou 16-to-5, the Tigers managed to keep Texas A&M to just one goal in the match. Jennifer Nobis and Amber Swinehart each scored unassisted in the game. Reserve goalkeeper Kira Reyes picked up her first collegiate victory making six saves.
Unable to maintain their momentum against Texas, the Tigers dropped a 6-0 loss to the Longhorns on Sunday.

Tiger Highlights
* Defeating #6 Texas A&M, the Tigers earned their second victory over an opponent ranked in the Top 25 this season. The win also marks the first time Mizzou has defeated the Aggies in College Station, Texas.
* Defeating then #23 Colorado, the Tigers picked up their second consecutive victory over the 2003 Big 12 Conference champions. After falling to the Buffs (3-2) during regular season play last year, the Tigers came back to defeat Colorado 2-0 in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament. Mizzou's 1-0 victory over the Buffs this season marks Missouri's second shutout victory of the year.
* Mizzou's 2-1 overtime victory against Oklahoma marks the first time a Missouri team has defeated the Sooners in Norman. The victory brings the Tiger's series record against OU to 5-3. The Tigers out shot the Sooners 20-to-6 during the game, and kept Oklahoma from taking a single shot during overtime play.
* Opening the year with a 1-1 record, the Tigers have opened their fifth straight season with a win, including their second consecutive season opening victory on the road.
* Missouri is out shooting its opponents an average of 16.5-to-12.8 shots per game. The Tigers have outshot nine of their 16 opponents.
* The Missouri defensive line has contributed 40 percent of Mizzou's scoring so far this season. Defenders Karen Bauer, Elyse Nikonchuk, Lacy Moore, Ashley Gibbs, Lauren Grice and Erica Pusch have together supplied 19 of Mizzou's 47 points. Tiger halfbacks have scored five of the Tigers' 15 goals and 9-of-13 assists on the year.
* Nine of Missouri's starting field players have contributed either a goal or an assist during the Tigers 10 games this season.
* In Big 12 Conference standings, the Tigers rank fourth in shots taken during the season (264). The Tigers have averaged 15.00 shots per game against league opponents to rank third in shots taken during Big 12 play.
