Q: As a senior, how do you use the experience you've accumulated in four years to be a leader on the team?
A: I try to set an example for the other girls on the team with my play. I also try to encourage the younger players and to convey a positive attitude to the team on the field.
Q: Has any aspect of the college game surprised you this year?
A: I don't think anything about the college game has surprised me this year. Three years of college soccer has taught me that every game is a battle. I've also learned that any team can win, no matter what their opponent is ranked.
Q: Is scoring a major priority for you, or are you mainly concerned with the team's performance?
A: I rarely think about my goal production. It would be nice to score, but that isn't a forward's only responsibility. Right now I try to focus on the other things that I can do to help the team win, as well as our team chemistry on the field.
Q: What were some of the reasons that brought you to the University of Missouri?
A: I chose to come to MU because of the soccer program and the girls on the team. I felt that the program was continually striving to improve, and I wanted to be a part of that.
Q: After you graduate, what will you miss the most about Mizzou soccer?
A: I will miss the competitiveness of the game, but more than that I'm going to miss the opportunity to see my teammates every day.
