Q: What's the biggest transition from high school to college?
A: "I would have to say college soccer is much quicker and more physical... those are the two biggest things. Referees let you get away with a lot more at this level"
Q: What are some goals that you set for yourself this season?
A: "My main goal is to just try and help contribute as much as I can to the program. Whether that's pumping up the girls when I'm on the sidelines or while I'm playing, putting forth my best effort. It would be nice to score a goal or two also!!"
Q: What's the hardest part about being a student athlete?
A: "Time management. When we travel for away games we miss class on Thursdays and Fridays so it's tough playing catch up and also know what's going on when you aren't able to attend class. But luckily we have time to study when we are on the road, so that helps some."
Q: Why did you choose Mizzou?
A: "I liked the immediately feeling I had when I arrived on campus. The team was great, all the girls were really cool, and it just felt like somewhere I needed to be. I didn't even take my other three visits, I committed on my official without hesitation."
Q: What's the best part about being close to home?
A: "Being able to go back when I actually have time. This summer I got to go back some, but now that the season is in full swing I haven't been back for a while. After we're done I'll be able to go back more often, I'll get to see my family and sleep in my own bed!!"
Q: What do you guys, as a team, expect to accomplish heading into the Big 12 season?
A: "Well, we start the Big12 season this weekend in Oklahoma... I think coming back with two victories under our belt would be the best way to start out conference play, especially beating Oklahoma State since that's who we played in the Big12 Championship last season."
