Missouri continues its four-match home stand with a non-conference matchup with Southeast Missouri State at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are 5-3 on the year after defeating Baylor on Saturday. SEMO is 1-8 on the season heading into the showdown with Mizzou. Missouri and Southeast Missouri State have faced each other 12 times with the Tigers winning nine of those matchups. The last meeting between the teams came in 2002, when Mizzou took a 3-0 win in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Tuesday's match is the second of four-consecutive home matches for MU. The Tigers opened the home stand with a 3-1 win over Baylor on Saturday. Next Saturday, Kansas State will be at the Hearnes Center at 7 p.m. Then on Sept. 29, Iowa State visits Columbia. Southeast Missouri State enters Tuesday's contest coming off its first win of the season, a 3-0 sweep of Southern Illinois last Tuesday.
Prior to that, the Otahkians had lost their first eight matches of the season, seven of which were sweeps.
Jessica Koeper leads SEMO with a 3.48 kills per game average, followed by Jill Miller's 2.90 kills per game mark.
Three Southeast players are averaging more than three digs a game with Lauren Scannell leading the team with a 4.97 average.
Koeper is averaging 3.62 digs per game and Miller has a 3.55 average.
Brenna Schlader has a team-best 1.05 blocks per game average.
Cindy Gannon is in her 16th season as the Otahkians head coach, compiling a career record of 356-202.
SERIES RECORDS
Mizzou holds a 9-3 lead in the all-time series with Southeast Missouri State heading into Tuesday's match.
They won the first five meeting between the two teams, before dropping three of the next four.
Since then, the Tigers have won three straight matches over the Otahkians.
MU is 4-2 against SEMO in Columbia and Susan and Wayne Kreklow are 3-0 in the series.
The last meeting between the two teams came in 2002, with Mizzou taking the 3-0 win in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
LAST TIME OUT
COLUMBIA, Mo.-- Mizzou Volleyball extended its win streak over Baylor to five with a 3-1 (30-18, 30-19, 24-30, 30-15) win on Saturday at the Hearnes Center. The Tigers have won eight of the last 10 meetings with Baylor with their last loss in the series coming in November of 2001.
Missouri entered the day leading the Big 12 in kills per game and improved that average to 17.52 with 53 kills on Saturday.
The Tigers out-hit Baylor .376 to .180 in the match. In game one, the Tigers had a .471-.032 advantage in hitting and followed that by out-hitting the Bears .406-.135 in the second game.
Baylor turned in around in game three, turning in a .594 hitting percentage in that game, while MU hit .351. However game four was controlled by MU who held BU to a -.030 hitting mark.
Shen Danru had 19 kills to lead the Tigers and has a team-best 4.32 kills per game average on the season. Danru added 11 digs for her fifth double-double of the season.
Lindsey Hunter had 44 assists to improve her Big 12 leading assists per game mark to 13.84. Nicole Wilson has a team-high .588 hitting percentage, with 11 kills.
CONFERENCE CALL
Missouri is well represented in the Big 12 Conference statistical categories. As a team, MU leads the conference in kills (17.52) and is second in assists (15.71).
The Tigers are third in both aces per game (1.87) and digs per game (15.90).
Individually, Nicole Wilson is leading the Big 12 in two categories. Her .450 hitting percentage and 0.65 aces per game average are best in the league.
Lisa Boyd is third in the conference standings with a .411 hitting percentage.
Shen Danru is fourth in kills per game (4.32) and Tatum Ailes is seventh in digs per game (3.81).
In Big 12 Conference matches only, Wilson leads with a .529 hitting percentage and Boyd is third (.420).
Jessica Vander Kooi is averaging 4.43 kills per game in conference matches which is fourth best and Danru's 4.29 average is sixth in the conference.
Wilson, Hunter and Ailes are tied for sixth with 0.43 aces per game in Big 12 matches and Hunter is second with 13.86 assists per game.

The Tigers are in midst of a four-match home stand which began last Saturday.
Following Tuesday's match, Mizzou will welcome Kansas State to the Hearnes Center on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Next Wednesday, Iowa State will visit Columbia before the Tigers take to the road for matches at Colorado and Oklahoma.
