Columbia, Mo. - The University of Missouri women's soccer team has announced their 2004 spring schedule. The spring games will serve as exhibition contests to help the Tigers prepare for their season this fall.

The Tigers will start off the spring schedule with a game against Purdue in St. Louis, Mo. at Chaminade High School. The last time these two teams met, Missouri came away with a 2-1 victory. Purdue advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament before being defeated by North Carolina.

The following weekend Missouri will meet Ohio State in St. Louis at the Sportport Soccer Complex. Ohio State finished the 2003 with a 13-5-3 record after being defeated in the second round of the NCAA Tournament by West Virginia.

Missouri will host the last three games of its spring season in Columbia as the Tigers take on Arkansas on April 17th, a team of MU Alumni on April 24th and finish the spring season with a match-up against Drake on April 25th.

The spring schedule is as follows:

April 3 v. Purdue @ 3pm (MICDS - St. Louis)

April 9 v. Ohio State @ 7pm (Sportport - St. Louis)

April 17 v. Arkansas @ 12pm (Home)

April 24 v. Alumni @ 1pm (Home)

April 25 v. Drake @ 1pm (Home)
