Missouri's Lauren Schwartzman (Health Careers) scored 9.9 on the balance beam to win her third title of the season in a dual match against Southeast Missouri State last weekend. Schwartzman, who ranks third in the nation in beam with an average score of 9.933, had become the first gymnast in the Tigers' 25-year history to have a perfect performance in any event when she scored a 10 on the beam in her team's 196.5-195.35 loss to Iowa State on Jan. 11.

A 4-foot-10 sophomore, Schwartzman continued her sparkling start by tying for first on both vault and beam with 9.900 scores in a 196.05-195.60 victory over New Hampshire on Jan. 16.
