North Carolina
With the win against Missouri, North Carolina head coach Mike Fox reached 40 wins for the fourth time in his five seasons with the Tar Heels. Fox is now 7-6 in NCAA Tournament play with his alma mater.
North Carolina is now 3-4 in extra-inning games this season, and Friday's game marked the fifth time in the last seven games that the team has gone into extra-innings.
