The University of Missouri men's and women's swimming and diving teams are headed for Bloomington, Indiana to participate in the Indiana Invitational November 21-23.
Heading into the weekend the Missouri men are 1-2 on the season and 0-1 in Big 12 competition. The Missouri men will face several top ranked opponents this weekend as they go up against #18 Pittsburgh , Cincinnati, #24Indiana, and Michigan State.
The Missouri women are currently ranked #23 in the country and are 4-2 on the season and 2-1 in conference dual meets. The women will compete against Pittsburgh, Arkansas, Miami (Fla.), Cincinnati, Michigan State, Illinois, and #13 Indiana.
The Missouri women have already faced Arkansas this season, defeating the Lady' backs 81-59.
The Invitational will follow a championship style order of events with preliminaries in the morning and finals in the afternoon sessions. The morning sessions events will be short course yards competition while the afternoon will be in short course meters.
At the conclusion of the morning session, the top-24 swimmers in each event will advance to the afternoon competition. The top-eight swimmers in each event will then advance to the finals.
