Kansas State is 23-3 overall and 13-1 in the conference ... KSU leads the Big 12 Conference, while Missouri is currently in fourth place.

Scouting the Wildcats
Kansas State enters Wednesday's match on an 11-match winning streak. After dropping the first two matches of the year, the Wildcats won 12 straight before falling to Baylor on Sept. 24, which was their last loss. Of KSU's 13 Big 12 wins, six have been three-game sweeps and just four have gone to five games, including its win over Mizzou on Oct. 8 in Manhattan. Kansas State is at the top of the Big 12 standings and leads the conference in hitting percentage with a .267 mark for the season. Lauren Goehring leads the conference with a .408 hitting percentage. Gabby Guerre is fourth in the Big 12 with a .325 hitting percentage and stands third with a 0.43 aces per game average.

The MU-KSU Series
Mizzou has dropped its last six matches against Kansas State with the last win coming in 2000 in Susan and Wayne Kreklow's first meeting against the Wildcats. Kansas State has won 18 of the last 19 matches against Mizzou. Earlier this season, KSU defeated Missouri 3-2 in Manhattan, Kan.

A Look Back
Mizzou's volleyball match against Nebraska was much closer than the 3-0 score would indicate. The Tigers were in every game and held several leads but did not have enough to take down Nebraska who took the 30-28, 31-29, 30-26 win. Less than a month after Missouri ended a 44-match losing streak to the Cornhuskers by picking up a 3-2 win in Lincoln, the Tigers fell short of making it two straight on Saturday in front of a crowd of 2,118. Mizzou trailed in game one until an ace by Lindsey Hunter tied the score at 15. The Tigers later took the lead at 19-18 and held the lead for much of the remainder of the game until a 4-0 run by the Huskers gave them the lead at 27-26. Nebraska scored three of the next five points for the game one win and a 1-0 lead in the match. The Tigers held the early game two lead until a 5-0 Husker run gave the lead to NU. Mizzou responded with a 4-0 run of its own to get back within one. MU tied the score at 28 and avoided one Nebraska game point before the Huskers closed out the game on their second game point. Game three opened with six straight MU points before the Huskers got on the board. Nebraska rallied, tying the score at 21 and taking its first lead of the game at 22-21 before going on to the 30-26 win to close out the match. Hunter, Shen Danru and Jessica Vander Kooi each recorded double-doubles on the night. It was the fourth straight match that all three had double-doubles. MU falls to 16-8 overall on the year and 9-6 in the Big 12 Conference, while Nebraska improves to 22-3 and 13-2 in the Big 12. The crowd was the fourth largest in Missouri volleyball history and marked the second consecutive match with an attendance over 2,000.
