The Missouri baseball will take the field on Friday for the annual Fall Black and Gold game. The intersquad game will begin at 4 p.m. at Taylor Stadium and is free to the public.
The Tigers are coming off a trip to the NCAA Tournament last spring. They finished the year with a 36-22 record, including a 19-5 mark at home. Tim Jamieson, enters his 10th season as the Missouri head coach. Thirty-seven players are on the fall roster, which includes seven starters from last year's NCAA Tournament squad.
The Tigers opened practice on Oct. 2 and will conclude the fall session with the Fall World Series which starts on Oct. 24 and continues through Oct. 29. All games will be nine-inning intersquad games and will also be open to the public.
