Scouting the Aggies
Texas A&M is 16-5 on the year and 8-3 in the Big 12 heading into Saturday's match. The Aggies have put together their longest winning streak of the season, winning their last six. They are coming off of a 3-0 (30-15, 30-17, 30-23) win over Texas on Oct. 24 and had last Wednesday off. Laura Jones and Melissa Munsch lead the A&M attack. Jones has a 3.91 kills per game average followed by Munsch's 3.70 average. Jones also averages 2.79 digs and 0.66 blocks per game. Munsch also averages 0.41 aces, 2.86 digs and 1.07 blocks per game for the Aggies. Laurie Corbelli is in her 11th season as the Aggie head coach, compiling a record of 252-90 at A&M.

The MU-A&M Series
Texas A&M has won the last two meetings with Mizzou and five of the last six. The Aggies lead the all-time series 15-3 and won have five of the seven matches played in Columbia. Earlier this season, Texas A&M defeated MU 3-1 (30-21, 30-25, 25-30, 30-22) in College Station.

A Look Back
AUSTIN, Texas--
The Mizzou Tiger volleyball team had its four-match win streak snapped as it fell to the Texas Longhorns 3-1 (30-28, 21-30, 40-38, 32-30) on Wednesday. The loss snaps a seven-match win streak over UT and was the first loss for Susan and Wayne Kreklow to Texas. The Longhorns won the opening point of the match and held the lead for the early portions of the first game. The lead switched hands seven times in the game, the final time coming when Texas took the lead away from Mizzou at 21-20. UT held game point at 29-26. MU fought of two game points before UT put the game away with a 30-28 opening-game win. MU took a 5-2 lead to open the second game and built a lead as large as eight in the game. The Tigers controlled the game and were able to put an end to any comeback attempts by Texas. Missouri's 30-21 win tied the match at one game a piece at the break. Game three was nearly a repeat of the game three these two teams played less than a month ago in Columbia. In that match, Mizzou finished a sweep of the Longhorn by taking the third game by a 42-40 score. On Wednesday, it was the Longhorns turn as they took a 40-38 win in the third game to go up 2-1 in the match. The Tigers held game point five times in the match and Texas won the game on its sixth game point of the game. The Tigers held a six point lead at one point in game four, before UT came back to tie the score at 26. Mizzou was able to put together a run and held a game point at 29-28. The Longhorns, however, avoided the game point and won the match on their second game point of the game to close out the match. Three Tigers had double-doubles led by Shen Danru who tied a career-high with 24 kills to go along with 16 digs. Jessica Vander Kooi had 12 kills and 13 digs, while Lindsey Hunter had 57 assists and 16 digs. She also had three aces. Sara Parks led MU with 19 digs and Lindsey Noll had two solo blocks and one block assists.

Mizzou will travel to Lawrence, Kan. on Wednesday to face the Jayhawks at 7 p.m. Following that, Missouri will have back-to-back home matches against Nebraska on Nov. 8 and Kansas State on Nov. 12.
