Q: How do you think the Brazil trip prepared the team for this season?
A: "It was so much fun. It was good for our team. It helped with team chemistry and getting to know the new players. We got to play teams without expectations."
Q: What was the highlight for you?
A: "It was beautiful and I liked the different culture and lifestyle. At the restaurants they bring everything out. It is continual courses."
Q: How did the local people treat the team?
A: "It was like we were celebrities. Everyone wanted to see us."
Q: What are your expectations for the rest of the season?
A: "We have gone through a lot of ups and downs this year. We've lost a lot of games we shouldn't have lost. We have 5 games left and 4 seniors, we need to make it to the Big 12 tournament for them."
Q: The team has had some tough losses. How do you think that is going to play into the Big 12 tournament?
A: "It has happened so many times and if we keep pushing through it eventually things will go our way. We want it and we are always fighting back, even if we are down two goals. We are having great opportunities. Eventually, we're going to finish on those. We're going to be able to look back and see how far we have come in one season."
Q: You have had a tough schedule, playing ranked teams back to back. How has it impacted the team?
A: "I think it is awesome. It is so much easier to get up for a game against a ranked team. It is good for us. If we played mediocre teams, our record would be good, but we would not be the team we are."
