Q: How did the Brazil trip bring you guys together as a team?
A: "As a freshman it helped me to get to know the girls, we couldn't help becoming closer because we went through such an amazing experience together and it really prepared us for the upcoming season."
Q: What was the highlight of the trip?
A: "For me the highlight would have to be either the day we spent at the beach or the night at the club. It was really nice to be with the team and enjoy a day together without soccer."
Q: What are your season expectations?
A: "As a team I hope that we're able to have fun together and make it the NCAA tournament"
Q: What's the most difficult part of being a collegiate athlete?
A: "The fact that there's competition everyday at practice. It forces me to work hard and push myself to play and practice at a higher level than I've ever experienced."
Q: What was it like playing in your first collegiate game?
A: "I was completely nervous. It was at Iowa, which is kinda in my territory so I really wanted to play my best and while I was really nervous I was also really excited to be experiencing soccer at such a high level"
Q: What are you expecting from your freshman season?
A: " I hope to improve and enjoy myself. I think that the biggest thing is going be getting adjusted to being a collegiate athlete and getting comfortable with the team."
